Window Shopping: April Edition

1 THE TB.56 SNEAKERS BY ALOHAS

In my opinion, these are the It-girl sneakers for spring and summer. They’re an affordable yet equally chic alternative to the New Balance X Miu Miu 530 SL suede sneakers in cinnamon…and let’s be honest, we’re all obsessed.

Enter this stylish, multi-layered brown suede pair from Alohas. With subtle branding, marbled shoelaces that add texture and dimension, and every detail perfectly executed (chef’s kiss), they’re a standout.

Style them with a crisp poplin blouse, a mini skirt, and chunky knit socks, or layer a patterned midi dress over a baby tee with eyelit-trimmed socks and charms galore. Either way, these sneakers bring a sporty, effortless flair to your brunch plans or farmer’s market fit.

2 SILKY SKIN & HAIR COURTESY OF SLIP

Slip’s latest collection, High Tide, just dropped last month, and as soon as I saw the color scheme, I couldn’t resist adding a few pieces to my cart. The signature Zippered Pillowcase has been given a feminine touch with scalloped edges and comes in a vibrant pink-and-red striped colorway—my ultimate weakness.

Also in my cart: the Sundown Minnie Scrunchies, perfect for keeping my braids intact overnight. They’re lightweight enough to be comfortable for sleeping, which is a major plus.

Lately, I’ve been on a haircare journey, focusing on growing my hair out and enhancing its shine. With the early onset of “May Gray,” frizz is one of my biggest concerns. A silk pillowcase is a game-changer—it reduces friction while sleeping and helps maintain my skin’s hydration, smoothness, and brightness. It’s an essential part of my nightly routine for healthier hair and glowing skin.

3 FIND ME UNDER THE CABANA

The Oasis Collection by Stanley has me ready to finally cave and buy my first Stanley water bottle. The classic 30 oz. Quencher comes in irresistible striped colorways (my favorite being the Emerald Cabana Gloss). It’s the perfect companion for staying hydrated while lounging by the pool this summer.

Psst! You can start collecting charms here.

4 PANDORA MOMENTS

I used to love the popular ’90s Nomination Bracelets, also known as Italian charm bracelets. Back then, we’d eagerly collect and customize the blocks, even though they would yank our arm hairs!

Now, there’s a new charm bracelet obsession, led by Pandora. The Moments Snake Chain Bracelet in 14k gold plating is my favorite. It’s sleek and minimal, like a blank canvas waiting to be adorned with charms. What makes it even better is how you can personalize it over time. At each holiday and special occasion, big or small, friends and family can gift you affordable charms to add to your collection. Plus, you can pick up exclusive charms when traveling abroad—a huge selling point for me as I love keepsakes and mementos from my adventures.

The journey of building your perfect charm bracelet feels so thoughtful and meaningful, and it will soon become a precious family heirloom that tells a story.

5 NO SMUT HERE!

Lately, I’ve been devouring books on my Kindle and feeling inspired to accessorize with cute cases I can swap out based on the book I’m reading or my mood. After visiting the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books a few weekends ago, I felt even more motivated to customize my Kindle. While there, I snagged two adorable PopSockets from The Ripped Bodice’s booth, and now I’m on the hunt for stickers, cases, and little bobbles to elevate my reading experience.

Recently, I discovered page., a brand offering a range of playful book accessories and apparel. Their selection has me eager to pick out a new Kindle case…
