Napa Bachelorette Itinerary
My big sister is getting married (!!) and I had the absolute honor of planning her bachelorette weekend.
She chose Napa Valley as our destination and instantly fell in love with the idea of a Princess Diaries-inspired theme. From start to finish, the weekend was full of laughter, sparkling toasts, and the most magical memories.
Below is a detailed breakdown of our itinerary—including every lunch and dinner reservation, winery stop, and unforgettable experience. I hope you enjoy reading through it as much as I loved reliving this special weekend!

Cue the royal scroll… here’s the official itinerary!
THURSDAY | Arrival Day!
Most of our bridal party drove up from Southern California, while I flew in early with one of the other out-of-state girls to check in, decorate our suite, and stock up on essentials before everyone else arrived.
We landed at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) around 8 AM, picked up our rental car, and hit the ground running. First stop: the Silverado Resort to check into our Oak Creek 3-Bedroom Suite. With six of us in the group, the suite was a perfect fit—clean, spacious, and a great blank canvas for all of our decorations. It felt like the perfect home base for the weekend.
After settling in, we made a quick trip to Trader Joe’s for snacks, drinks, and fresh flowers, followed by a stop at Safeway to inflate balloons and pick up vases for the bouquets.
Next up: a visit to Sweetie Pies Bakery in Downtown Napa to grab our custom cake—a vanilla pound cake filled with blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries, frosted in white with black script reading “The Bridal Diaries.”
Pro tip: Grab a snack here. It’s the perfect little pick-me-up for a busy day!
Once we had all the goodies, we headed back to the suite to unload and decorate. The rest of the girls arrived around 4 PM, and we officially kicked off the weekend by popping champagne and opening bridesmaid gift bags.
That evening…
We headed to Bistro Don Giovanni (better known as Don G’s to the locals) for a sunset dinner on their gorgeous terrace. Highly recommend any of their pasta dishes and do not skip the burrata appetizer…so good! We wrapped up the night with affogatos and espresso martinis, full and happy and ready for an unforgettable weekend ahead!
FRIDAY | All Aboard the Wine Train!
We woke up buzzing with excitement for the day’s main event: a 3-hour lunch aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train. We had booked the Afternoon Tea x CHANDON Experience, and let me tell you, it was everything. Think garden party meets scenic rail tour, with plenty of charm and indulgence along the way.
We arrived at McKinstry Street Station at 10:30 AM for check-in, where we received adorable souvenir pins and a link to download our group photo in front of the train. Before long, it was time to board.
Our group was seated at two cozy booths, and the experience kicked off with a welcome CHANDON Garden Spritz cocktail. From there, we chose our teas and were served a delicious first course—grilled cheese with tomato soup. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially with dietary restrictions in our group, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The highlight? A beautiful tower of classic sweet and savory bites, perfect for nibbling as we sipped tea and watched the Napa Valley roll by from downtown Napa to St. Helena and back. It truly felt like a dreamy, moving garden tea party. We arrived back at the station around 2:30 PM, browsed the gift shop, and said our goodbyes to the train.
Exploring Yountville
Next, we headed to Yountville for a relaxed afternoon stroll. We wandered the charming main street, passed by the famed French Laundry, and made a quick stop at Bouchon Bakery for a much-needed treat. Across the street, the Yountville Twilight Market was in full swing, and we took our time exploring local vendor booths and chatting with some of the friendly artisans.
Dinner at RH Yountville
After some free time, we made our way to RH Yountville for our 6:30 PM dinner reservation. We arrived a bit early and enjoyed a pre-dinner glass of champagne in their beautiful Wine Vault. The RH menu was light, fresh, and perfect after a long and lovely day. Most of us ordered chopped salads—paired, naturally, with a side of fries.
Golden hour swept over us as we wrapped up dinner and made our way back to the resort, full and happy. The night ended back at our resort with cozy pajamas, girl talk, and plenty of laughter before drifting off to sleep.
SATURDAY | The Quintessential Napa Day
Saturday was peak Napa: booked, busy, and beautiful. We had two highly anticipated wine tastings on the itinerary, and the day did not disappoint.
Stop 1: Domaine Carneros
We kicked things off at Domaine Carneros, a stunning château-style estate known for its méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines and estate Pinot Noir. We had one of the earliest tasting slots, which I highly recommend—not only for the calmer atmosphere but also to enjoy the mild morning air and a quiet stroll around the grounds before the crowds arrive.
Our group sat on the outdoor terrace and ordered from the Daily Tasting Menu, deciding on both the Sparkling Château and Sparkling Wine flights. We shared a delicious spread that included a cheese and charcuterie board, a vegan pairing, and a smoked salmon plate. Everything was incredible, but fair warning: it fills you up fast, so pace yourself if you have more tastings lined up!
Stop 2: Cakebread Cellars
After wrapping up at Domaine Carneros, we headed to Cakebread Cellars for their signature tour and tasting. While only two of us opted in for the wine, the staff went above and beyond, whipping up sparkling strawberry refreshers for the rest of the group. It was such a thoughtful touch.
We didn’t know exactly what to expect from this stop, but it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire weekend. Our guide was phenomenal—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. She walked us through the sustainably farmed vineyards, taught us about their winemaking process, and poured an exceptional lineup of wines. This family-owned winery left a lasting impression thanks to its dedication to quality and authentic hospitality.
Lunch at Oakville Grocery
Once our tasting wrapped, we took a quick Uber to Oakville Grocery, a charming and iconic Napa stop. I had originally planned to fit this in between our tastings, but pushing it to later worked out perfectly, especially since we were so full after Domaine Carneros.
This spot offers elevated bites made with local ingredients, perfect for grabbing on the go or enjoying on their sunny patio. From fresh sandwiches to salads and pastries, it was the ideal place to recharge before winding down for the afternoon.
Oakville Grocery is a must-visit—easy, delicious, and full of local flavor. Add it to your itinerary if you’re planning a Napa trip!
That night…
After a full day of wine tasting, we planned a girly night in. The theme? A Princess Diaries-inspired slumber party, of course.
Before changing into our matching pink striped silk pajamas (as any good bachelorette crew would), we made a quick trip to the Market at Silverado Resort to pick up dinner. We grabbed two large pizzas—Margherita and Pesto di Limone—and both totally hit the spot. Highly recommend for an easy, delicious bite right on the resort grounds.
Back at the suite, we gathered in the living room, opened every snack bag we’d packed, and kicked off our two-movie marathon. It was the perfect cozy night filled with carbs, giggles, and all the nostalgic comfort of royal makeovers and sleepover scenes.
SUNDAY | A Sweet Sendoff
Sunday was short and sweet, with no plans on the agenda besides checking out of our little bachelorette oasis and making our way home.
As we packed up and said our goodbyes, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Every bit of feedback I received was warm, positive, and full of love. I’m so overjoyed knowing that everyone had such a wonderful time—and most importantly, that we got to celebrate my sister, the beautiful bride-to-be, in a way that felt special and unforgettable.
We created memories this weekend that I know we’ll be talking about for years to come.
xx
